YumFam is an English-language guide to the best family-friendly food and stay deals in China — built for expats, travelers, and anyone planning a trip to China who’d rather not decode Chinese booking apps.
What we do
We curate three things:

Every deal shows the real price in CNY (with an approximate USD reference), what’s included, and honest notes from our team. Selected deals also carry translated guest reviews from the booking platform.
How it works
- Browse the deals in English.
- Tap “Get this deal” — you’ll pass through a quick landing page.
- In WeChat, the booking page opens directly. In a regular browser, you’ll see a QR code — scan it with WeChat to continue. (That’s how the exclusive prices stay working; it takes ten seconds.)
- Book and pay on the partner platform, in CNY via WeChat Pay or Alipay.
How we make money
Deal links are affiliate links. When you book through them, the partner platform pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. That’s what keeps YumFam free and keeps us hunting for deals every week. Prices are updated weekly; holiday promos can sell out fast, so the good ones never last long.
Who we are
We’re a small team based in Xiamen, China — parents ourselves, and firm believers that the best family memories are made around good food and good trips. We started YumFam because China’s hotel and resort deals are genuinely world-class, but nearly invisible if you don’t read Chinese.
