Hangzhou Paradise is one of the Yangtze Delta’s big all-round theme parks, split into themed zones — Maya Tribe, Lost Jungle, Adventure Island — with dozens of thrill rides, kids’ rides and live shows. The headline rides are the Maya Roller Coaster (an 800-metre red dragon hitting 80 km/h), the 60-metre Rain God Hammer swing, the Wind God Hand, a white-water flume, bumper cars and a carousel, plus a carnival parade with floats and performers. One ticket covers the whole park for the afternoon.

Practical notes: these are advance tickets — buy by 23:59 the day before; same-day purchases cannot be used. Entry is from 12:00 (last entry 16:00, park closes 17:00). Enter with the ID card used at booking; if one order holds several tickets, everyone in the order must enter together. One paying adult can bring one child free (under 1.2 m or under 6 years old); extra children need tickets, and under-16s must be with an adult. Unused tickets are refundable any time; partially used orders are not. Address: Hangzhou Paradise, 2555 Fengqing Avenue, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang.
