Deal price: 1 adult buffet lunch, Fri–Sun — ¥158 (≈$22, was ¥268, about 41% off) · Valid Nov 7 – Dec 31, 2026 · Each adult brings 1 child under 1.4 m free · Refundable if unreserved, auto-refund on expiry
NINE restaurant at W Xiamen is marking the hotel’s 5th anniversary with a buffet deal built around a rotating food theme — and right now that theme is German food, running through November 30. Expect the live grill station (steak, German sausages), a seafood spread (big prawns, mussels, scallops, oysters — the garlic-grilled oysters get singled out), sashimi and sushi cut to order, Chinese and Western hot dishes, fresh soups, and a dessert table that riffs on Xiamen’s dice-game (博饼) tradition. Dinner adds hairy crab and the house “circle sausage”, and an autumn/winter hotpot option has just joined the menu.
The theme rotates — past editions have been Thai, Sichuan and Mexican — so the German spread is the draw if you go in November, and the menu will change with the season after that. Lunch runs 12:00–14:00, Friday to Sunday; dinner runs Thursday to Sunday. Every adult can bring one child under 1.4 m free, which makes this one of the better-value five-star buffets in Xiamen for a family lunch.

What guests say
45 merchant reviews for this restaurant on the booking platform. Guests keep coming back for the rotating themes — a note on the quotes below: they describe earlier themes, not the current German one, which is exactly how the restaurant works.
“The five-star service and setting held their usual standard — the whole experience was superb. With a Michelin-starred chef in charge, the Sichuan theme really brought Chongqing and Sichuan to the table. Thoughtful service, very satisfied.” — May 2026
“We came in June for the Thai theme. The room is beautiful, the range is generous — curry chicken soup and sour-spicy tom yum, plus a fresh coconut per person. A family of four ate well and happily; we’ll come back to try another theme.” — August 2026
One balanced note: “The US–Mexico theme was good, but overall quality had slipped — very little seafood, no decent abalone or crab, few desserts, and no assigned dish at dinner.” — July 2026. Worth knowing: the spread varies by theme, and dinner’s extras (like the current hairy crab) are part of the deal.
