The China premiere of Disney 100 Years of Wonder is now open at Beijing Chaoyang Joy City (10F, 101 Chaoyang North Road): a walk-through century of Disney drawn from the Walt Disney Archives — the studio’s own vault of original props, costumes and artwork, most of it never previously shown in China. The route moves decade by decade through the stories: early animation treasures, Cinderella’s glass slipper, Marvel artifacts, a full-size BB-8 from the Star Wars sequels, and immersive music-and-story galleries that build to a cinema-style finale hall. For a parent who grew up on these films, half the fun is watching your kids meet the same characters in the same rooms — it’s a genuinely three-generation exhibition, not a kids-only play space.
How a visit runs: tickets are buy-and-use with no exchange step — book through the exhibition’s WeChat account and enter with your booking QR code plus the purchase QR. Entry is one-time per ticket. Day sessions run 10:00–22:00 (last entry 21:00); the cheaper night session runs 18:00–22:00 (last entry 21:00). Give it 1.5–2 hours at a family pace — the archive galleries reward lingering, and the finale hall is worth timing your exit around rather than rushing. Chaoyang Joy City is a full mall, so the natural family plan is dinner downstairs first, then the night session upstairs after 18:00 when the galleries are calmest.
Getting there: the mall sits on Metro Line 6 (Qingnian Lu station) in Chaoyang District — from central Beijing it’s a straight subway ride with no transfers from most of the east side, and there’s mall parking if you drive (weekend evenings fill up; the subway is the calmer option for a night-session visit).
Packages
- Night session single ticket — ¥108 (≈$15), was ¥188. Entry 18:00–22:00 (last entry 21:00). ⚠️ Night tickets are only valid through October 31, 2026 — 0 days left at this price (today is the last day).
- Adult day ticket — ¥160 (≈$22), was ¥188. Valid through March 31, 2027.
- Child day ticket — ¥128 (≈$18), was ¥148. Valid through March 31, 2027. Child ticket covers kids up to 1.3 m.

Good to know: The two cheapest limited-promo tiers (¥100 adult / ¥68 child) are already sold out — the three tiers above are what’s still bookable. Kids 0.8 m and under enter free (one per paying adult). Children under 1.3 m and visitors with mobility needs must be accompanied by an adult. One entry per ticket. If your dates are flexible, the arithmetic is simple: any evening before Oct 31, the night ticket does the same exhibition for ¥52 less than the adult day ticket.
What guests say
No guest reviews on the booking platform yet — the exhibition only opened on September 24, 2026, and the platform’s review pool for it is still empty. What’s verifiable before you go: this is the official Archives exhibition (the same show that toured Philadelphia, Munich, London and Seoul), the Beijing stop is its China premiere, entry really is QR-only with no ticket-exchange queue, and every ticket tier is refundable until the moment you use it — so a speculative night-ticket purchase inside its Oct 31 window carries no sunk-cost risk if plans change.
