A light-luxury cultural resort run by the Delong hotel group in the foothills of Lingshan Mountain — “the 33rd blessed land” — about 20 minutes from Shangrao railway station and 12 km from Lingshan scenic area. More than twenty restored Huizhou heritage houses, a traditional tea-oil workshop and classical Chinese gardens are woven into 40,900㎡ of landscaped grounds, so the whole stay feels like stepping into a quiet Jiangnan painting. Shangrao itself sits where Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Fujian and Anhui meet, an easy high-speed-rail hop from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Xiamen or Fuzhou — and a handy base for Lingshan, Wangxian Valley and Gexian Village.
